MARKVOORUITSIGTE

So berig Etienne Bezuidenhout, OVK Sybokhaarbestuurder.

The fourth Mohair auction of the 2021 Summer Season went well with good competition among all the buyers. Due to the large amount of hair offered, the auction was held over two days.

MARKET OUTLOOK

The outlook for the coming season is that seed-price prices will continue to be under pressure and that young goat hair and finer types (all fine types) will receive good attention, and that prices at current levels should trade sideways. The fifth auction of the 2021 Summer Season, will be held on 11th May 2021, in Port Elizabeth. So reports Etienne Bezuidenhout, OVK Mohair Manager.
