MARKANALISE

Op 26ste wolveiling van die 2021/2022 seisoen, het die Cape Wools Merino aanwyser met 1.5% vir nie-RWS en 3.9% vir RWS wol gedaal teenoor die vorige veiling en teen 'n skoonprys van R163.70/kg en R185.45/kg, onderskeidelik gesluit. Die Rand het 1.7% sterker verhandel teen die VSA Doller en 1.6% sterker teenoor die Euro, ooreenstemmend dieselfde tyd van die vorige veiling. Modiano het op hierdie veiling die grootste hoeveelheid bale gekoop, gevolg deur Standard Wool SA, Tianyu SA en Lempriere SA. Daar is in totaal 8 320 bale aangebied, waarvan 94.3% verkoop is.

Op die OVK veiling is 2 345 bale aangebied, waarvan 96.8% verkoop is. Die hoogste prys op die OVK veiling, van R199.00/kg, is behaal vir ‘n 1 baal lot CMY van 16.0 mikron, uit die skeersel van Four, vanuit die Rouxville distrik. Die koper was Stucken & Co. Baie geluk met hierdie prestasie! Die volgende veiling is geskeduleer vir 30 Maart, waar sowat 6 115 Bale aangebied sal word.

OVK bied voorskotte op vesel wat by ons gelewer word, asook produksielenings. Skakel gerus die OVK Veselkantoor in Port Elizabeth of u Tegniese Veldbeampte vir meer inligting. Vind ook meer uit oor die opwindende nuwe kommissiestruktuur op vesel bemark deur OVK. Produsente word ook herinner aan die lojaliteitskema van OVK, waar boere beloon word met 23.9 sent vir elke kilogram vesel wat deur OVK bemark word.

MARKET ANALYSES

On 26th wool auction of the 2021/2022 season, the Cape Wools Merino indicator decreased by 1.5% for non-RWS and 3.9% for RWS wool, compared to the previous sale and closed at a clean price of R163.70/kg and R185.45/kg, respectively. The Rand traded 1.7% stronger against the US Dollar and 1.6% stronger against the Euro, compared to the previous sale. Modiano SA purchased the largest number of bales on this auction, followed by Standard Wool SA, Tianyu SA and Lempriere SA. A total of 8 320 bales were on offer, of which 94.3% was sold.

On the OVK auction 2 345 bales were offered, of which 96.8% was sold. The highest price on the OVK auction, of R199.00/kg, was achieved for a 1 bale lot CMY of 16.0 microns, from the clip of Four Daughters, from the Rouxville district. The buyer was Stucken & Co. Congratulations on this achievement! The next auction is scheduled for 30 March, where plus minus 6 115 bales will be on offer.
