MARKANALISE

Die tweede veiling van die 2023 winterseisoen het op 5 September 2023 in Port Elizabeth plaas gevind, met 138 682kg op aanbod, waarvan 81% van die hand gesit is. Die aanbod het bestaan uit goeie kwaliteit sybokhaar waarvan 89% RMS gesertifiseer was. Nie al die kopershuise was aktief gedurende die veiling nie, wat die mededinging op die veiling negatief beïnvloed het, veral die sterker segment van die mark. Kleinbokkies styg met 2% en jongbok haar daal met 3%. Fyn grootbok haar het met 4% gedaal en sterk grootbok haar daal met 5%. Die gemiddelde markaanwyser het met 2% gedaal in vergelyking met die vorige veiling om te sluit op R 327.19/kg. Die hoogste bin prys gedurende die veiling was OVK bin wat verkoop het vir R 718/kg. Dit was vir ‘n baal BSFFK van 25.1 mikron. Die produsente in hierdie bin was: Skietfontein Plase BK, Harris Trust, Lew Keevy, OJ Pieterse, Henderson Hills (Pty) Ltd,  HL De Wet Boerdery (Pty) LTD, Karoo Fine Fibre Farming (Pty) LTD, O Janse Van Rensburg, JA Rich,  Snywyk Boerdery BK, Die SCB Trust. Die Koper was Samil Trading.  Die hoogste prys op die veiling was behaal deur 'n OVK kliënt, Mnr. DH Schoeman van De Rust vir ‘n baal BSFFK super styl en karakter van 24 mikron. Die prys was R 850/kg en die koper was Vitale Barberis Canonico. OVK is trots op ons produsente en waardeer hul lojale ondersteuning.

MARKVOORUITSIGTE

Die derde veiling van die Sybokhaar Winterseisoen 2023 vind plaas op die 26 September. Bokhaar behoort op huidige vlakke te verhandel. So berig Gerrit van Heerden, Sybokhaar bestuurder. 082 854 8604.

OVK bied voorskotte op vesel wat by ons gelewer word, asook produksielenings.  Skakel gerus die OVK Veselkantoor in Port Elizabeth of u Tegniese Veldbeampte vir meer inligting. Vind ook meer uit oor die opwindende nuwe kommissiestruktuur op vesel bemark deur OVK. Produsente word ook herinner aan die lojaliteitskema van OVK, waar boere beloon word met 32 sent vir elke kilogram vesel wat deur OVK bemark word.

MARKET ANALYSIS

The second auction of the 2023 winter season took place in Port Elizabeth on 5 September, with 138 682kg on offer, of which 81% was sold. The offer consisted of good quality mohair of which 89% was RMS certified. Not all the buyer houses were active during the auction, which negatively affected the competition at the auction, especially the stronger segment of the market. Kid mohair increased by 2% and young goats decreased by 3%. Fine adult mohair decreased by 4% and strong adult mohair decreased by 5%. The average market indicator decreased by 2% compared to the previous auction to close at R 327.19/kg. The highest bin price during the auction was OVK bin which sold for R 718/kg. This was for a bale BSFFK of 25.1 microns. The producers in this bin were: Skietfontein Plase BK, Harris Trust, Lew Keevy, OJ Pieterse, Henderson Hills (Pty) Ltd, HL De Wet Boerdery (Pty) LTD, Karoo Fine Fibre Farming (Pty) LTD, O Janse Van Rensburg, JA Rich, Snywyk Boerdery BK, Die SCB Trust. The Buyer was Samil Trading. The highest price at the auction was achieved by a OVK producer, Mr. DH Schoeman from De Rust for a bale BSFFK, super style and character of 24 microns.
