Die vierde veiling van die 2022 winterseisoen het vandag in Port Elizabeth plaas gevind, met 169 543kg op aanbod, waarvan 56% verkoop is. Die aanbod het bestaan uit bokhaar van goeie gehalte met 73% van die sybokhaar wat RMS gesertifiseerd is. Vandag se veiling het voortgegaan op dieselfde tendens as die vorige veiling met kopershuise wat relatief passief was. Sjina het steeds nie teruggekeer na die mark nie en Europa sukkel steeds met buitesporige energie kostes wat lei tot hoë inflasie en rente koerse. Meer as 40% van die sybokhaar op vandag se veiling bly onverkoop. Vergelyking met die vorige veiling het kleinbokkiehaar met 5% gedaal, jongbokhaar het met 10% gedaal, sterk- en fyn grootbokhaar het ‘n daling van 7% getoon. Die nasionale mark aanwyser het 7% laer op R321.65/kg gesluit. OVK se gemiddeld was R326.42/kg. Die hoogste prys op OVK veiling was deur Pen Marx Familie Trust vir ‘n baal BSFFK met 24.9 mic wat verkoop het teen R665/kg. Ons waardeur die lojale ondersteuning van al ons produsente. The fourth auction of the 2022 winter season took place in Port Elizabeth today, with 169,543kg on offer, of which 56% was sold. The offering consisted of good quality mohair with 73% of the mohair being RMS certified. Today's auction continued on the same trend as the previous auction with buyer houses being relatively passive. China has still not returned to the market and Europe is still struggling with excessive energy costs leading to high inflation and interest rates. More than 40% of the mohair at today's auction remains unsold. Compared to the previous auction, kid mohair decreased by 5%, young goats decreased by 10%, strong and fine Adult mohair showed a decrease of 7%. The national market indicator decreased by 7% at R321.65/kg. OVK's average was R326.42/kg. The highest price at OVK auction was achieved by Pen Marx Family Trust for a bale of BSFFK with 24.9 mic which sold at R665/kg.
