MARKANALISE

Die sesde veiling van die 2023 somerseisoen het plaasgevind in Port Elizabeth op 16 Mei 2023, met 147 233kg op aanbod, waarvan 92% van hand gesit is. Die aanbod het uit uitstekende individuele skeersels bestaan, wat gelei het tot goeie kompetisie tussen die kopershuise in die fyner segment van die mark. 84% van die aanbod het uit RMS- gesertifiseerde sybokhaar bestaan. Kleinbokkiehaar styg met 3% en Jongbokhaar daal met 2%. Fyn grootbokhaar daal met 1% en sterk grootbokhaar daal met 2%. Die gemiddelde markaanwyser het met 1% gedaal om te sluit op R371.45/kg. OVK se gemiddelde markaanwyser was R385.68/kg wat hoër is as die nasionale gemiddeld. OVK bins het goed presteer met die hoogste prys op die veiling en seisoen van R810/kg. Die produsente in die lot was: CM Barry Testamentêre Trust, Marx Strydom Boerdery BK, Peter Gowar Farms CC, DS Jubelius en Bitterfontein Trust. Die hoogte punt op die veiling was egter die top kwaliteit skeersel van FEC Farming (PTY) LTD waarvan twee uitskieter bale uitmuntende pryse behaal het. ‘n Baal BSFFK van 23.1 mikron wat verkoop het vir R1000/kg. Dit is toe opgevolg deur ‘n baal BSFFK van 23.2 mikron met ‘n skoonopbrengs van 98.1% wat verkoop het vir ‘n wêreld rekord prys van R1051/kg (wat op ‘n openbare veiling verkoop het), die koper was in beide gevalle VBC. MARKVOORUITSIGTE

OVK bied voorskotte op vesel wat by ons gelewer word, asook produksielenings.  Skakel gerus die OVK Veselkantoor in Port Elizabeth of u Tegniese Veldbeampte vir meer inligting. Vind ook meer uit oor die opwindende nuwe kommissiestruktuur op vesel bemark deur OVK. Produsente word ook herinner aan die lojaliteitskema van OVK, waar boere beloon word met 32 sent vir elke kilogram vesel wat deur OVK bemark word.

MARKET ANALYSIS

The sixth auction of the 2023 summer season took place in Port Elizabeth on 16 May 2023, with 147 233kg on offer, of which 92% was sold. The offer consisted of excellent individual clips, which led to good competition between the buyer houses in the finer segment of the market. 84% of the offering consisted of RMS certified mohair. Kid mohair increased by 3% and young goat hair decreased by 2%. Fine Adults Decreased by 1% and strong Adults decreased by 2%. The average market indicator decreased by 1% to close at R371.45/kg. OVK's average market indicator was R385.68/kg which is higher than the national average. OVK bins performed well with the highest price at the auction and season of R810/kg. The producers in the lot were: CM Barry Testamentary Trust, Marx Strydom Boerdery CC, Peter Gowar Farms CC, DS Jubelius and Bitterfontein Trust. However, the highlight of the auction was the top-quality clip from FEC Farming (PTY) LTD of which two outstanding bales achieved excellent prices. A bale BSFFK of 23.1 microns that sold for R1000/kg. This was then followed by 23.2 microns bale of BSFFK with a clean yield of 98.1% which sold for a world record price of R1051/kg (which sold on a public auction), the buyer in both cases being VBC.
