MARKANALISE

Die sewende en laaste bokhaar veiling van die 2023 somerseisoen het plaasgevind in Port Elizabeth op 6 Junie 2023, met 170 420kg op aanbod waarvan 63% van die hand gesit is. Die aanbod het bestaan uit gemengde kwaliteit skeersels. Die groot volume op aanbod en die sukkelende wêreldmarkte het baie druk op die veiling geplaas. RMS gesertifiseerde bokhaar het steeds gesorg vir goeie kompetisie tussen kopers huise. Kleinbokkie haar daal met 3%, jongbok haar, fyn grootbok haar en sterk grootbok haar daal met 5%. Die gemiddelde markprys daal met 5% en sluit op R352.97. OVK bins het weereens goed presteer met die hoogste prys van R775/kg op die veiling. Die produsente in hierdie bin was JL Moolman, AP Burger, Sholto Kroon Familie Trust en M. Pieterse. Die koper was Vitale Barberis Canonico (VBC). OVK is trots op ons produsente en waardeer hul lojale ondersteuning.

MARKVOORUITSIGTE

Die eerste veiling van die Sybokhaar Winterseisoen 2023 vind plaas op die 15 Augustus. So berig Gerrit van Heerden, Sybokhaar bestuurder. 082 854 8604.

OVK bied voorskotte op vesel wat by ons gelewer word, asook produksielenings.  Skakel gerus die OVK Veselkantoor in Port Elizabeth of u Tegniese Veldbeampte vir meer inligting. Produsente word ook herinner aan die lojaliteitskema van OVK, waar boere beloon word met 32 sent vir elke kilogram vesel wat deur OVK bemark word.

MARKET ANALYSIS

The seventh and final mohair auction of the 2023 summer season took place in Port Elizabeth on 6 June 2023, with 170 420kg on offer of which 63% was sold. The supply consisted of mixed quality clips. The large volume on offer and the struggling world markets have put a lot of pressure on the auction. RMS certified mohair continued to ensure good competition between buyer houses. Kid mohair decreases by 3%, young goats, fine adults and strong adults decreased by 5%. The average market price decreased by 5% and closes at R352.97. OVK bins once again performed well with the highest price of R775/kg at the auction. The producer mohair in this bin was from JL Moolman, AP Burger, Sholto Kroon Family Trust and M. Pieterse. The buyer was Vitale Barberis Canonico (VBC). OVK is proud of our producers and appreciates their loyal support.
