MARKANALISE

Die vyfde veiling van die 2024 somerseisoen het plaasgevind in Port Elizabeth op 30ste April 2024 wat 164 096 kg aangebied waarvan 85% verkoop is. Goeie kwaliteit skeersels was aangebied en 80% was RMS gesertifiseerd. Die gemiddelde mark aanwyser daal met 5% en sluit op R381.11/kg. Kleinbokkie haar daal met 5%, Jongbokhaar daal met 7% en Sterk- en fyn grootbokhaar met 5%.

Die hoogste Bin prys op OVK en openbare veiling:

OVK se uitstaande bin pryse het voorgeduurd en het weereens die hoogste bin prys vir die dag behaal. Hierdie bin baal is n BSFFK van 23.1 mikron het verkoop vir R756/kg. Die produsente in hierdie lot was: Gouwsskraal Trust, Peter Gower Farms CC en A.Barnard.

Somer seisoen rekord prys!

PF Webber het egter gesorg vir die hoogtepunt van die veiling en n nuwe seisoen rekord opgestel met ‘n baal BSFFK van 23.2 mikron wat verkoop het vir R900/kg. Die koper was VBC.

MARKVOORUITSIGTE

Die sesde veiling van die 2024 somer seisoen vind plaas op die 14de Mei 2024 en sekere segmente van die veiling kan onder druk geplaas word. Dit is as gevolg van die verminderde aanvraag vir sekere tipes. So berig Gerrit van Heerden, Bokhaar Bestuurder. Kontak hom by 082 854 8604.

OVK bied voorskotte op vesel wat by ons gelewer word, asook produksielenings.  Skakel gerus die OVK Veselkantoor in Port Elizabeth of u Tegniese Veldbeampte vir meer inligting. Vind ook meer uit oor die opwindende nuwe kommissiestruktuur op vesel bemark deur OVK. Produsente word ook herinner aan die lojaliteitskema van OVK, waar boere beloon word met 35 sent vir elke kilogram vesel wat deur OVK bemark word.

MARKET ANALYSIS

The fifth auction of the 2024 summer season took place in Port Elizabeth on 30 April 2024, the offering consisted 164 096 kg of which 85% was sold. Good quality mohair were offered, with 80% RMS certified. The average market indicator decreased by 5%, closing at R381.11/kg. Kid mohair decreased by 5%, Young goat mohair decreased by 7%, and Strong and fine adult mohair decreased by 5%.

The highest Bin price at OVK and public auction:

OVK's outstanding bin prices persisted and once again achieved the highest bin price for the day. This bin bale, BSFFK of 23.1 microns, sold for R756/kg. The producers in this lot were: Gouwsskraal Trust, Peter Gower Farms CC, and A.Barnard.

PF Webber was the highlight of the auction and set a new season record with a bale BSFFK of 23.2 microns selling for R900/kg. The buyer was VBC.

MARKET OUTLOOK
