Kern doel van die pos:

Die effektiewe instandhouding en herstel van masjienerie, geboue en toerusting by OVK Vesel Stoor.

Minimum Vereistes:

• Graad 12;
• Toepaslike Aambag kwalifikasie (RED Seal Millwright Trade Test sal voordelig wees);
• 4 jaar toepaslike ondervinding.
• Kandidate met vorige Instandhouding, meganiese en / of hidroliese ondervinding sal voorkeur hê.

Vaardighede:

• Goeie kommunikasie- en taalvaardighede in Afrikaans en Engels;
• Deeglike kennis van beroepsveiligheid;
• Meganisasievaardighede;
• Liggaamlike vermoe om die werk te kan doen;
• Bereid om lang ure te werk;
• Goeie interpersoonlike vaardighede;
• Moet in spanverband asook onafhanklik kan funksioneer.

Verantwoordelikhede:

• Verseker beplanning en uitvoering van instandhoudingsfunksie van masjienerie, geboue en toerusting.
• Nagaan en herstel van toerusting;
• Verseker effektiewe beheer van personeel en voorraad;
• Voldoening aan Veiligheidsregulasies;
• Byhou van administrasie.

Main purpose of the position:

The maintainance and repairs of machinery, buildings and equipment at OVK fibre storage.

Minimum Requirements:        

• Grade 12;
• Appropriate Trade qualification (RED Seal Millwright Trade Test will be beneficial);
• 4 years relevant experience.
• Candidates with previous Maintenance, mechanical and / or hydraulic experience will get preference.

Skills:

• Excellent communication and language proficiency in Afrikaans & English;
• Good knowledge of occupational health and safety;
• Mechanisation skills;
• Physical ability to perform the work;
• Willingness to work long hours;
• Good interpersonal skills;
• The ability to function in a team as well as independently.

Responsibilities:

• Checking and repairing of equipment;
• Ensure planning and execution of maintenance functions of machinery, buildings and equipment;
• Ensure effective control of personnel and stock;
• Compliance to safety regulations;
• General administration.
