Kern doel van die pos:
Effektiewe hantering en onderskrywing van Agri-, Kommersiële- en Persoonlike lyne met betrekking tot versekering sowel as algemene administratiewe take.
Vereistes:
- Graad 12;
- FAIS Akkreditasie (relevante kwalifikasie, RE5 & CoB - sal tot voordeel strek);
- Vorige werk ondervinding in onderskrywing of korttermyn versekerings omgewing (sal tot voordeel strek);
- Produk kennis / opleiding t.o.v korttermyn versekering.
Vaardighede:
- Goeie kommunikasie- en taalvaardighede in Afrikaans en Engels;
- Rekenaarvaardig (MS Office);
- Sterk syfervaardighede;
- Goeie organisasie vermoë;
- Moet onder druk kan funksioneer;
- Sperdatum gedrewe en goeie beplannings vermoë;
- Moet vertroulikheid kan handhaaf;
- Die vermoë om goeie interpersoonlike verhoudinge te kan handhaaf.
Verantwoordelikhede:
- Onderskrywing van korttermyn polisse (nuwe besigheid, hernuwings en wysigings);
- Diens en skakeling met/vir Versekeraars en Makelaars;
- Instandhouding van versekerings polisse;
- Onderhou en vaslê van data op nodige stelsels en databasis;
- Voorbereiding van nodige verslae (nuwe besigheid, hernuwings en wysigings);
- Uitvoer van administratiewe pligte.
Bloemfontein/LadybrandCore purpose of the post:
Effective handling and underwriting of Agri, Commercial and Personal lines with regard to insurance as well as general administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- Grade 12;
- FAIS Accreditation (relevant qualification, RE5 & CoB – will be beneficial);
- Previous work experience in underwriting or short-term insurance environment (will be beneficial);
- Product knowledge / training with regard to short-term insurance.
Skills:
- Good communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
- Computer literate (MS Office);
- Strong numeracy skills;
- Good organizational ability;
- Must be able to function under pressure;
- Deadline driven and good planning ability;
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality;
- The ability to maintain good interpersonal relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Underwriting of short-term policies (new business, renewals and amendments);
- Service and liaison with / for Insurers and Brokers;
- Maintenance of insurance policies;
- Maintaining and capturing data on necessary systems and database;
- Preparation of necessary reports (new business, renewals and amendments);
- Execution of administrative duties.
