Die 4de sybokhaarveiling van die 2021 winter seisoen het vandag 19 Oktober 2021 plaasgevind in Port-Elizabeth. Van die bokhaar aangebied op veiling was 64% RMS-gesertifiseerd. Sterker rand het verdere druk op pryse geplaas. Kleinbokkiehaar daal 6% met markaanwyser van R638.23/kg en 94% is verkoop. Jongbokhaar toon ook 6% daling met markaanwyser wat op R450.52/kg sluit met 99% verkoop. Fyngrootbokhaar het met 9% gedaal en markaanwyser sluit op R364.67/kg waarvan 91% verkoop is. Sterkgrootbokhaar het 7% daling getoon en markaanwyser sluit op R307.68/kg met 90% verkoop. Die veilings markaanwyser het 6% gedaal en sluit op R373.22/kg. OVK veilings gemiddeld was R442.46/kg wat slegs n daling van 2.3% vanaf vorige veiling was. Hoogste bin prys was R700.10/kg. Hoogste volledige skeersel gemiddelde was R537.37/kg vir PF de Klerk van Murraysburg. OVK is trots op sy kliënte en waardeer hulle ondersteuning en vertroue.

The 4th mohair auction of the 2021 winter season took place today, 19 October 2021 in Port Elizabeth. Of the mohair offered at auction, 64% was RMS certified. Stronger rand put further pressure on prices. Kid mohair decreased 6% with market indicator of R638.23 / kg and 94% was sold. Younggoat mohair also shows a 6% decrease with market indicator closing at R450.52 / kg with 99% sales. Fine adult mohair decreased by 9% and market indicator closed at R364.67 / kg of which 91% was sold. Strong Adult mohair showed a 7% decline and market indicator closed at R307.68 / kg with 90% sales. The auction market indicator decreased 6% to close at R373.22 / kg. OVK auction averaged R442.46 / kg which was only a decrease of 2.3% from previous auction. Highest bin price was R700.10 / kg.
