MARKANALISE
Die eerste Sybokhaarveiling van die 2021 Winter seisoen het vandag op 17 Augustus 2021 in Port-Elizabeth plaasgevind, met goeie mededinging tussen kopershuise. Groot persentasie RMS sertifiseerde bokhaar was op die veiling aangebied wat goeie kompetisie uitgelok het. Die wisselkoers het ook 'n invloed op die pryse gehad. Kleinbokkiehaar styg met 9% met 'n markaanwyser van R795.79/kg en 100% is verkoop. Jongbokhaar daal ongelukkig met 3% met 'n markaanwyser van R481.67/kg en 'n verkoopspersentasie van 95%. Fyn grootbokhaar styg met 2% met 'n markaanwyser van R369.86/kg en 100% is verkoop. Sterk grootbokhaar het met 1% gestyg met 'n markaanwyser van R301.05/kg. Dit het die totale verkope op 95.8% te staan gebring met 'n markaanwyser van R404.50/kg wat 8.3% hoër is. OVK saamverpakkings lotte het wèèreens goed verkoop met diè hoogste prys vir Kleinbokkiehaar, onderskeidelik R830/kg en R829/kg. Dit was ook die hoogste pryse vir die dag op die veiling gewees.
MARKVOORUITSIGTE
Die vooruitsig vir die volgende veiling is dat pryse op huidige vlakke sywaarts behoort te verhandel, alhoewel die volgende veiling 'n groot aanbieding is. Die tweede veiling van 2021 Winter seisoen word op die 7de September 2021 in Port-Elizabeth gehou. So berig deur Gerrit van Heerden, OVK Sybokhaarbestuurder.
OVK bied voorskotte op vesel wat by ons gelewer word, asook produksielenings. Skakel gerus die OVK Veselkantoor in Port Elizabeth of u Tegniese Veldbeampte vir meer inligting. Vind ook meer uit oor die opwindende nuwe kommissiestruktuur op vesel bemark deur OVK. Produsente word ook herinner aan die lojaliteitskema van OVK, waar boere beloon word met 23.9 sent vir elke kilogram vesel wat deur OVK bemark word.
MARKET ANALYSIS
The first Mohair auction of the 2021 Winter season took place today, 17 August 2021 in Port-Elizabeth, with good competition between buyers. Large amount of RMS certified Mohair was on auction which provoked good competition. The exchange rate also had an effect on prices. Kid Mohair increased by 9% with a market indicator of R795.79/kg and 100% was sold. Young goat Mohair decreased by 3% with a market indicator of R481.67/kg and a sales percentage of 95%. Fine Adult Mohair increased by 2% with a market indicator of R369.86/kg and 100% was sold. Strong Adult Mohair increased by 1% with a market indicator of R301.05/kg. This brought the total sales to 95.8% with a market indicator of R404.50/kg which is 8.3% higher. Once again OVK bin lots sold well, with thé highest prices for kid mohair at R830/kg and R829/kg. It had also been the highest prices for the day at the auction.
MARKET OUTLOOK
The prospect for the next auction is that prices at current levels should trade sideways, although the next auction is a large offering. The second auction of 2021 Winter season will be held on 7th September 2021 in Port-Elizabeth. So reported by Gerrit van Heerden, OVK Mohair Manager.
