MARKANALISE

Die 2de veiling van die somerseisoen  het op 4 Maart 2025 plaasgevind met ‘n aanbod van 184 168kg waarvan 99% verkoop is.Die aanbod, waarvan 90% RMS gesertifiseer was, het uit goeie kwaliteit bokhaar bestaan waarvan individuele skeersels uitstekende resultate gelewer het. Kopers het aktief meegeding  en dit het bygedra tot ‘n 5% opwaartste beweging in die mark om te sluit op R377.39/kg. Kleinbokkiehaar het met 3% gestyg, Jongbokhaar het met 6% gestyg, fyn Grootbokhaar het met 5% gestyf  en sterk Grootbokhaar het met 6% gestyg.

Die hoogste Bin prys op OVK en openbare veiling:

OVK BINS het soos oudergewoonte weer puik presteer. ‘n Baal CFNK van 23.6 mikron is verkoop vir R708.00/kg. Die produsente in hierdie lot was IJ Verwey, Speelmanskop Farming CC, DIE SCB TRUST, CJ van Schalkwyk, SAA Marais, New Years Drift Enterprises (PTY)LTD, Pierre van Schalkwyk Trust, The Holvlakte Joint Venture, AJ Marais, DC van Zyl Boerdery (PTY) LTD, WC Strydom en W DE S Greeff . Die koper was VBC .Dit is dan ook die hoogste prys op die OVK sowel as openbare veiling vir die dag.

Die hoogste Produsente baal op die OVK veiling:

CJ van Schalkwyk van Willowmore het ‘n baal CSFFK van 21.4 mikron verkoop vir R695.10/kg. Dit was die hoogste produsente prys op die OVK veiling. Die koper was CONNACHER.

MARKVOORUITSIGTE

Die derde veiling van die 2025 somer seisoen vind plaas op die 25ste Maart 2025. Pryse behoort teen huidige vlakke te verhandel. So berig Gerrit van Heerden, Bokhaar Bestuurder. Kontak hom by 082 854 8604.

OVK bied voorskotte op vesel wat by ons gelewer word, asook produksielenings.  Skakel gerus die OVK Veselkantoor in Port Elizabeth of u Tegniese Veldbeampte vir meer inligting. Vind ook meer uit oor die opwindende nuwe kommissiestruktuur op vesel bemark deur OVK. Produsente word ook herinner aan die lojaliteitskema van OVK, waar boere beloon word met 32 sent vir elke kilogram vesel wat deur OVK bemark word.

MARKET ANALYSIS

The 2nd auction of the summer season took place on 4 March 2025 with an offer of 184,168kg of which 99% was sold.

The offering, 90% of which was RMS certified, consisted of good quality mohair whose individual shears produced excellent results. Buyers actively competed and this contributed to a 5% upward movement in the market to close at R377.39/kg

The highest Bin price at OVK and public auction:

OVK BINS performed superbly again as usual. A bale of CFNK of 23.6 microns was sold for R708.00/kg.
