MARKANALISE

Die tweede veiling van die 2024 winterseisoen het op 10 September 2024 in Port Elizabeth plaasgevind, met 201 624kg op aanbod, waarvan 79% van die hand gesit is. Dit was die grootste veiling van die 2024 winterseisoen waarvan 91% van hierdie hoë kwaliteit aanbieding RMS gesertifiseer was. Nie alle kopershuise het aktief tydens die veiling meegeding nie. Dit het ‘n negatiewe effek op kompetisie gehad, veral op die sterker segment van die mark. Die gemiddelde mark aanwyser het gesluit op R339.48/kg wat 3% laer is teenoor die vorige veiling. OVK behaal ‘n hoër gemiddelde mark aanwyser teenoor die nasionale markaanwyser wat sluit op R 351.22/kg

Die hoogste Bin prys op OVK en openbare veiling:

OVK bins het goed verkoop met ‘n hoogste binprys van R729/kg vir ‘n baal BSFFK van 24.7 mikron wat behaal is deur die volgende produsente: F Louw, P.A. Scholtz en PC Marais & Sons Family Trust. Die koper was VBC.

Die hoogste prys vir die dag was behaal deur WC Strydom van Willowmore vir ‘n uitskieter baal BSFFK van 24.3 mikron wat verkoop is teen R780/kg. Die koper was VBC. OVK is trots op ons produsente en waardeer hul lojale ondersteuning.

MARKVOORUITSIGTE

Die derde veiling van die 2024 winterseisoen vind plaas op die 1ste Oktober 2024. Die volgende veiling behoort steeds onder druk te wees a.g.v. hoë volume sybokhaar wat aangebied moet word.  So berig Gerrit van Heerden, Bokhaar Bestuurder. Kontak hom by 082 854 8604.

OVK bied voorskotte op vesel wat by ons gelewer word, asook produksielenings.  Skakel gerus die OVK Veselkantoor in Port Elizabeth of u Tegniese Veldbeampte vir meer inligting. Produsente word ook herinner aan die lojaliteitskema van OVK, waar boere beloon word met 35 sent vir elke kilogram vesel wat deur OVK bemark word.

The second auction of the 2024 winter season took place on the 10^th of September 2024, in Port Elizabeth, with 201 624 kg on offer, of which 79% was sold. It was the largest auction of the 2024 winter season, with 91% of this high-quality offering being RMS certified. Not all buyers houses actively competed during the auction, which had a negative effect on competition, particularly in the stronger segment of the market. The average market indicator closed at R339.48/kg, which is 3% lower compared to the previous auction. OVK achieved a higher average market indicator compared to the national market indicator, closing at R351.22/kg.

OVK bins sold well with a highest bin price of R729/kg for a bale of BSFFK of 24.7 microns. This was achieved by the following producers: F Louw, P.A. Scholtz, and PC Marais & Sons Family Trust. The buyer was VBC.

 MARKET OUTLOOK
