MARKANALISE

Die eerste veiling van die 2024 winterseisoen het op 20 Augustus 2024 in Port Elizabeth plaasgevind, met 146 414kg op aanbod, waarvan 87% van die hand gesit is.

Die eerstse veiling van die seisoen is altyd moeilik om te kwoteer as gevolg van die groot variasie in samestelling van een seisoen na ander. Die versterking in die Rand en ‘n mate van onsekerheid in die sybokhaar mark as gevolg van ‘n swakker aanvraag in Juliemaand het ‘n daling teweeg gebring. Die gemiddelde markaanwyser het met 9% gedaal in vergelyking met die vorige somerseisoen veiling om te sluit op R349.69/kg. Kleinbokkiehaar daal met 6% en Jonkbokhaar daal met 8%. Grootbokhaar daal met 10%.

Die hoogste Bin prys op OVK en openbare veiling:

OVK bins het goed verkoop met ‘n hoogste binprys van R740/kg vir ‘n baal BSFFK van 23.5 mikron wat behaal is deur die volgende produsente: Brandfontein Trust, M van Schalkwyk en PS Danckwerts. Die koper was VBC.

Die hoogste Produsente baal op die OVK en openbare veiling:

Du Preezskraal Trust van Willowmore het ‘n baal BSFFK van 25.6 mikron verkoop teen R760/kg. Dit was ook die hoogste prys vir die dag. Die koper was VBC.

MARKVOORUITSIGTE

Die tweede veiling van die 2024 winterseisoen vind plaas op die 10de September 2024. Met ‘n groot volume Sybokhaar op die 2de veiling sal pryse steeds onder druk wees. So berig Gerrit van Heerden, Bokhaar Bestuurder. Kontak hom by 082 854 8604.

OVK bied voorskotte op vesel wat by ons gelewer word, asook produksielenings.  Skakel gerus die OVK Veselkantoor in Port Elizabeth of u Tegniese Veldbeampte vir meer inligting. Vind ook meer uit oor die opwindende nuwe kommissiestruktuur op vesel bemark deur OVK. Produsente word ook herinner aan die lojaliteitskema van OVK, waar boere beloon word met 35 sent vir elke kilogram vesel wat deur OVK bemark word.

The first auction of the 2024 winter season took place on the 20^th of August 2024in Port Elizabeth, with 146 414 kg on offer, of which 87% was sold.

The first auction of the season is always challenging to quote due to the significant variation in composition from one season to the next. The strengthening of the Rand and a degree of uncertainty in the mohair market due to demand in July have led to a decrease. The average market indicator decreased by 9% compared to the previous summer season auction, closing at R349.69/kg. Kid mohair decreased by 6%, young goat mohair decreased by 8%, and adult mohair decreased by 10%.

Highest Bin Price at OVK and Public Auction:

OVK bins sold well, with the highest bin price of R740/kg achieved for a bale BSFFK with a micron of 23.5, obtained by the following producers: Brandfontein Trust, M van Schalkwyk, and PS Danckwerts. The buyer was VBC.

Highest Producer Bale at the OVK and Public Auction:

Du Preezskraal Trust from Willowmore sold a bale BSFFK with a micron of 25.6 at R760/kg. This was also the highest price of the day. The buyer was VBC.
