Cape Wools Merino aanwyser daal met 2.1% vir nie-RWS wol en 3.2% vir RWS wol. / Cape Wools Merino indicator decreases by 2.1% for non-RWS wool and 3.2% for RWS wool

MARKANALISE

Op 25ste wolveiling van die 2021/2022 seisoen, het die Cape Wools Merino aanwyser met 2.1% vir nie-RWS en 3.2% vir RWS wol gedaal teenoor die vorige veiling en teen 'n skoonprys van R166.14/kg en R193.06/kg, onderskeidelik gesluit. Die Rand het 1.3% sterker verhandel teen die VSA Doller, ooreenstemmend dieselfde tyd van die vorige veiling. Die grootste verandering die week, was in die 20.0 mikron segment, met 'n algemene daling van 3.4%. Volhoubaar gesertifiseerde wol het 43% van die Merino wol aanbieding uitgemaak.  Daar is in totaal 7 615 bale aangebied, waarvan 94.1% verkoop is.

Op die OVK veiling is 2 314 bale aangebied, waarvan 97.0% verkoop is. Die hoogste prys op die OVK veiling, van R226.00/kg, is behaal vir ‘n 1 baal lot CMY van 16.5 mikron, uit die skeersel van Bibby Boerdery  vanuit die Frankfort distrik. Die koper was Stucken & Co. Baie geluk met hierdie prestasie!

OVK bied voorskotte op vesel wat by ons gelewer word, asook produksielenings. Skakel gerus die OVK Veselkantoor in Port Elizabeth of u Tegniese Veldbeampte vir meer inligting. Vind ook meer uit oor die opwindende nuwe kommissiestruktuur op vesel bemark deur OVK. Produsente word ook herinner aan die lojaliteitskema van OVK, waar boere beloon word met 23.9 sent vir elke kilogram vesel wat deur OVK bemark word.

MARKET ANALYSES

On 25th wool auction of the 2021/2022 season, the Cape Wools Merino indicator decreased by 2.1% for non-RWS and 3.2% for RWS wool, compared to the previous sale and closed at a clean price of R166.14/kg and R193.06/kg, respectively. The Rand traded 1.3% stronger against the US Dollar, compared to the previous sale. The largest movement on this auction, was a decrease of 3.4%, in the 20.0 micron segment. Sustainable certified wool made up 43% of the Merino wool offering. A total of 7 615 bales were on offer, of which 94.1% was sold.

On the OVK auction 2 314 bales were offered, of which 97.0% was sold. The highest price on the OVK auction, of R226.00/kg, was achieved for a 1 bale lot CMY of 16.5 microns, from the clip of Bibby Boerdery, from the Frankfort district. The buyer was Stucken & Co.
