MARKANALISE

Die tweede Sybokhaarveiling van die 2021 Winter seisoen het vandag op die 7de September 2021 plaasgevind in Port-Elizabeth. Van die bokhaar aangebied op die veiling was 76% RMS-gesertifiseerd en dit het gesorg vir goeie kompetisie tussen die kopershuise. 

Kleinbokkiehaar styg met 3.8% met ‘n markaanwyser van R718.35/kg en 100% is verkoop. Jongbokhaar het met 1.7% gestyg met ‘n markaanwyser van R490.03/kg en 100% is verkoop. Fyn grootbokhaar styg met 9.3% met ‘n markaanwyser van R404.10/kg en 100% is verkoop. Sterk grootbokhaar het met 10.8% gestyg met ‘n markaanwyser van R333.45/kg en 98% het verkoop. Die gemiddelde markaanwyser het met 3.5% gestyg en gesluit op R418.66/kg. Daar is 97.3% bokhaar verkoop. OVK se markaanwyser het gesluit op R425.83/kg en was hoër as die Nasionale Markaanwyser.

 Hoogste volledige skeersel gemiddeld was R651.41/kg vir DH Schoeman van Oudtshoorn. OVK bin het weereens goed verkoop met die hoogste bin prys van R820/kg vir die dag op die veiling. Rekord prys vir Winterkleinbokkiehaar is behaal deur DH Schoeman van Oudtshoorn vir ‘n baal van 25.2 mikron met ‘n skoonopbrengs van 91.5%. Die baal is verkoop teen ‘n rekord prys van R970/kg en New England Wool SA was die koper. OVK is trots op sy kliënte en waardeer hulle ondersteuning en vertroue.

MARKVOORUITSIGTE

Die vooruitsig vir die volgende veiling is dat pryse op die huidige vlakke sal verhandel. Die derde veiling van 2021 Winter seisoen sal op die 28ste September plaasvind te Port-Elizabeth.  

OVK bied voorskotte op vesel wat by ons gelewer word, asook produksielenings. Skakel gerus die OVK Veselkantoor in Port Elizabeth of u Tegniese Veldbeampte vir meer inligting. Vind ook meer uit oor die opwindende nuwe kommissiestruktuur op vesel bemark deur OVK. Produsente word ook herinner aan die lojaliteitskema van OVK, waar boere beloon word met 23.9 sent vir elke kilogram vesel wat deur OVK bemark word.


MARKET ANALYSIS

The second Mohair auction of the 2021 Winter season took place today, the 7th of September 2021 in Port Elizabeth. 76% of the offering was RMS certified and this ensured good competition between the buyers.

Kid mohair increased by 3.8% with a market indicator of R718.35 / kg and 100% was sold. Young goat mohair increased by 1.7% with a market indicator of R490.03 / kg and 100% was sold. Fine adult mohair increased by 9.3% with a market indicator of R404.10 / kg and 100% was sold. Strong adult mohair increased by 10.8% with a market indicator of R333.45 / kg and 98% sold. The average market indicator increased by 3.5% and closed at R418.66 / kg and 97.3% mohair was sold. OVKs market indicator closed at R425.83 / kg and was higher than the National Market Indicator. 

Highest complete clip on average was R651.41 / kg for DH Schoeman from Oudtshoorn. OVK bin once again sold well with the highest bin price of R820 / kg for the day at the auction. Record price for Winter kid mohair was achieved by DH Schoeman from Oudtshoorn for a bale of 25.2 microns with a clean yield of 91.5%. The bale was sold at a record price of R970 / kg and New England Wool SA was the buyer. OVK is proud of its producers and appreciates their support and trust.

MARKET OUTLOOK

The prospect for the next auction is that prices at current levels should trade sideways although the next auction is a large offering. The second auction of 2021 Winter season will be held on 28 September 2021 in Port Elizabeth. So reported by Gerrit van Heerden, OVK Mohair Manager.
