MARKANALISE

Die sewende en laaste sybokhaarveiling van die 2020 winter verkoopseisoen is vandag, die 10de Desember 2020, in Port Elizabeth aangebied. Daar was goeie kompetisie van die kopers in die meeste van die tipes. Fyn grootbokhaar en Jongbokhaar het die meeste aandag geniet en uitstekende pryse is behaal. Pryse van kleinbokkiehaar het met 3.8% gedaal met 'n markaanwyser van R429.08 / kg en 93.0% is verkoop; jongbokhaar styg met 6.3% met 'n markaanwyser van R275.55 / kg en 'n verkoopspersentasie van 97.0%. Grootbokhaar styg met 6.0% met 'n markaanwyser van R202.26 / kg en 87.6% is verkoop. Dit het die totale verkope op 89.7% te staan gebring met 'n markaanwyser van R261.55 / kg wat 'n styging is van 2.7%. Die beste prys van die dag het aan OVK PureCape Bin gegaan wat R580.10 / kg vir winter-tipe BSFFK van 23.7 mikron behaal het. Mosenthal was die koper.

MARKVOORUITSIGTE

Die vooruitsig vir die komende seisoen, is dat die pryse van saad-tipe haar steeds onder druk gaan verkeer en dat jongbokhaar(al die fyn tipes) goeie aandag gaan geniet en dat pryse op die huidige vlakke sywaarts behoort te verhandel. Die eerste veiling van die 2021 Somer seisoen, S2101, word op die 9de Februarie 2021 in Port Elizabeth aangebied. So berig Etienne Bezuidenhout, OVK Sybokhaarbestuurder.

MARKET ANALYSES

The seventh and final mohair auction of the 2020 winter sales season was held today, the 10th of December 2020, in Port Elizabeth. There was good competition from the buyers in most of the types. Fine adult mohair and young goat mohair received the most attention and excellent prices were achieved. Prices of kid mohair decreased by 3.8% with a market indicator of R429.08 / kg and 93.0% were sold; young goat hair increased by 6.3% with a market indicator of R275.55 / kg and a sales percentage of 97.0%. Adult mohair increased by 6.0% with a market indicator of R202.26 / kg and 87.6% was sold. This brought the total sales to 89.7% with a market indicator of R261.55 / kg which is an increase of 2.7%. The best price of the day went to OVK PureCape Bin which achieved R580.10 / kg for winter type BSFFK of 23.7 microns. Mosenthal was the buyer.

MARKET OUTLOOK

The prospect for the coming season is that the prices of seed-type will still be under pressure and that young goat hair (all the fine types) will receive good attention and that prices at current levels should trade sideways.
