MARKANALISE

Die sesde sybokhaarveiling van die 2020 winter verkoopseisoen is vandag, die 24ste November 2020, in Port Elizabeth aangebied. Daar was goeie belangstelling in al die tipes. Die daling in die gemiddelde pryse kan toegeskryf word aan die tipe haar wat vandag aangebied was. Pryse van kleinbokkiehaar het met 4.8% gedaal met 'n markaanwyser van R446.34/kg en 100.0% is verkoop; jongbokhaar daal met 5.8% en 'n markaanwyser van R259.20/kg en 'n verkoopspersentasie van 100.00%. Grootbokhaar daal met 3.5% met 'n markaanwyser van R190.73/kg en 77.8% is verkoop. Dit het die totale verkope op 84.8% te staan gebring met 'n markaanwyser van R254.71/kg wat 'n daling is van 4.4%. Die beste prys van die dag het aan Jay Oelofse Familie Trust gegaan wat R590.00/kg vir winter-tipe BSFFK van 24.3 mikron behaal het. Stucken was die koper.

MARKVOORUITSIGTE

Die vooruitsig vir die komende veiling, is dat die pryse van saad-tipe haar steeds onder druk gaan verkeer, terwyl alle ander tipes op die huidige vlakke behoort te verhandel. Die volgende veiling word op die 8ste Desember 2020 in Port Elizabeth aangebied. So berig Etienne Bezuidenhout, OVK Sybokhaarbestuurder.

MARKET ANALYSES

The sixth mohair auction of the 2020 winter sales season was held today, the 24th of November 2020, in Port Elizabeth. There was good interest in all the types. The drop in average prices can then be attributed to the type of hair that was offered today. Prices of kid mohair decreased by 4.8% with a market indicator of R446.34/kg and 100.0% were sold; young goat hair decreased by 5.8% and a market indicator of R259.20/kg and a sales percentage of 100.00%. Adult mohair decreased by 3.5% with a market indicator of R190.73/kg and 77.8% was sold. This brought the total sales to 84.8% with a market indicator of R254.71/kg which is a decrease of 4.4%. The best prize of the day went to Jay Oelofse Family Trust who achieved R590.00/kg for winter type BSFFK of 24.3 microns. Stucken was the buyer.

MARKET OUTLOOK

The outlook for the upcoming auction is that seed-type prices will continue to be under pressure, while all other types should be trading at current levels. The next auction will be held on the 8th of December 2020 in Port Elizabeth. So reports Etienne Bezuidenhout, OVK Mohair Manager.
