MARKANALISE

Die derde sybokhaarveiling van die 2020 winter verkoopseisoen is vandag, die 29ste September 2020, in Port Elizabeth aangebied. Daar was goeie belangstelling in die meeste van die tipes. Grootbokhaar het die beste vertoon op die dag met ‘n 20.0% styging. Pryse van bokkiehaar het met 1.7% gedaal met 'n markaanwyser van R411.62 /kg en 100% is verkoop; jongbokhaar styg met 19.6% met 'n markaanwyser van R258.47/kg en 'n verkoopspersentasie van 92.6%. Grootbokhaar styg met 20.0% met 'n markaanwyser van R191.36/kg en 100% verkoop. Dit het die totale verkope op 91.8% te staan gebring met 'n markaanwyser van R248.12/kg wat 'n styging van 11.9% is. Die beste prys van die dag het aan Sarel du Plessis van Oudtshoorn gegaan wat R620.00/kg vir winter tipe kleinbokkiehaar behaal het. Samil was die koper.

MARKVOORUITSIGTE

Die vooruitsig vir die komende veiling, wat ook 'n kleiner volume veiling gaan wees, is dat die pryse van saad-tipe haar steeds onder druk gaan verkeer, terwyl dié res van die tipes op die huidige vlakke behoort te verhandel. Die volgende veiling word op die 20ste Oktober 2020 in Port Elizabeth aangebied. So berig Etienne Bezuidenhout, OVK Sybokhaarbestuurder.

MARKET ANALYSES

The third sale of the 2020 winter season took place in Port Elizabeth today, the 29th of September 2020. There was good competition on most of the types. Adult mohair had the best performance of the day with a 20.0% increase. The price of kids decreased by 1.7% with a market indicator of R411.62/kg and a 100% sale clearance; young goat hair increased by 19.6% with a market indicator of R258.47/kg and a sale clearance of 92.6%. Adult mohair increased by 20.0% with a market indicator of R191.36/kg and 100% sold. This brought the overall sale clearance to 91.8% and the overall market indicator to R248.12/kg which is an increase of 11.9%. Sarel du Plessis of Oudtshoorn fetched the highest price of R620.00/kg today for a bale of winter kids. Samil was the buyer.

MARKET OUTLOOK

The prospect for the upcoming auction, which will also be a smaller volume auction, is that the prices of seed-type will still be under pressure, while the rest of the types should trade at current levels.
