MARKANALISE

Daar is in totaal 7 702 bale aangebied, waarvan 83.7% verkoop is. Die koper was Standard Wool. Baie geluk met die prestasie!

VOORUITSIGTE

FORECAST

This week saw the SA wool market traded somewhat higher compared to the previous week and, in spite of a stronger Rand, still performed better than the Australian market. The receival of wool in the brokers’ stores increased by 14.40% compared to the same time of the previous season. This is indeed positive news for the industry. This week’s auction showed that sustainable certified wool still enjoys good attention amongst buyers. Producers have to take note of this and we invite farmers to contact OVK for assistance in the certification process. The next auction is scheduled for 8 July 2020 where there will be about 8 455 bales on offer. This report by Heinrich Victor, Manager Special Services Fibre – OVK.
