Daar is in totaal 8 038 bale aangebied, waarvan 90.1% verkoop is. Die koper was Tianyu SA. Baie geluk met die prestasie!

VOORUITSIGTE

Hierdie verslag deur Heinrich Victor, Bestuurder Spesiale Dienste  Vesel – OVK.

FORECAST

This week saw a decrease in the SA wool market, compared to the previous week. The negative tendency can be attributed to uncertainties in the Chinese market. The receival of wool in the brokers’ stores this week increased by 10.82% compared to the same time of the previous season. This is indeed positive news for the industry, with the season’s receivals already closed on 10 June. This week’s auction showed that sustainable certified wool still enjoyed good attention amongst buyers. Producers have to take note of that and we invite farmers to contact OVK for assistance in the certification process.

The next auction is scheduled for 24 June 2020. This report by Heinrich Victor, Manager Special Services Fibre – OVK.
