Daar is in totaal 7 603 bale aangebied, waarvan 94.4% verkoop is.

VOORUITSIGTE

FORECAST

This week saw a increase in the SA wool market, compared to the previous week. This positive movement was in spite of a stronger exchange rate against the main currencies, compared to the same time of the previous sale. The receival of wool in the brokers’ stores this week increased by 1.29% compared to the same time of the previous season. This is positive news for the industry, with the season ending soon. Receivals for the current season ended on the 10th of June. The last auction showed that sustainable lots enjoyed good attention amongst buyers. Producers have to take note of that and we invite farmers to contact OVK for assistance in the certification process.

The next auction is scheduled for 17 June 2020, when approximately 8 470 bales will be available . This report by Heinrich Victor, Manager Special Services Fibre – OVK.
