Op 34ste wolveiling en ook die laaste van die 2021/2022 seisoen, het die Cape Wools Merino aanwyser met 0.2% vir nie-RWS wol en 1.9% vir RWS wol verswak teenoor die vorige veiling en teen 'n skoonprys van R164.91/kg en R180.07/kg, onderskeidelik gesluit. Die Rand het 0.9% sterker verhandel teen die VSA Doller en 1.1% gewen teen die Euro, ooreenstemmend dieselfde tyd van die vorige veiling. Daar is in totaal 10 340 bale aangebied, waarvan 82.2% verkoop is.
Op die OVK veiling is 2 556 bale aangebied, waarvan 85.1% verkoop is. Die hoogste prys op die OVK veiling, van R241.00/kg, is behaal vir ‘n 1 baal lot CFH van 16.6 mikron, uit die skeersel van JR de Villiers, vanuit die Aliwal-Noord distrik. Die koper was Standard Wool SA. Baie geluk met hierdie prestasie!

On 34th wool auction and also the last of the 2021/2022 season, the Cape Wools Merino indicator decreased by 0.2% for non-RWS and by 1.9% for RWS wool, compared to the previous sale and closed at a clean price of R164.91/kg and R180.07/kg, respectively. The Rand traded 0.9% stronger against the US Dollar and also gained 1.1% to the Euro, compared to the previous sale. A total of 10 340 bales were on offer, of which 82.2% was sold.
On the OVK auction 2 556 bales were offered, of which 85.1% was sold. The highest price on the OVK auction, of R241.00/kg, was achieved for a 1 bale lot CFH of 16.6 microns, from the clip of JR de Villiers, from the Aliwal North district. The buyer was Standard Wool SA. Congratulations on this achievement!
