Die vierde veiling van die 2022 Somerseisoen het oor twee dae, 11 en 12 April 2022, in Port Elizabeth plaasgevind. Die aanbod het uit goeie kwaliteit sybokhaar bestaan waarvan 94% verkoop is en 69% van die aanbieding was RMS gesertifiseerd. Die sterker SA-geldeenheid het ‘n groot rol gespeel in die 4% daling van die markaanwyser wat op R422.76/kg gesluit het. Vergeleke die vorige veiling daal kleinbokkies met 2%, jongbokke daal met 5%, fyn grootbokke daal met 6% en sterk grootbokke daal met 1%. OVK Bins het weer eens baie goed presteer met ‘n baal BSFFK wat vir R730/kg verkoop het. Die produsente in daardie bin was MI Lord, EE Brits, JVW Olivier, Van Zyl Boerdery, Zeekoegat Trust, DS Jubelius, EJJ Visagie en Harry Hobson. Die pryse weerspieël die hoë standaard en kwaliteit werk wat deur die OVK Bin Afdeling gehandhaaf word. EE Brits van Jansenville het ‘n baal goeie styl kleinbokkiehaar van 24.4 mikron vir R780/kg verkoop. Dit was ook die hoogste prys vir ‘n OVK kliënt en die koper was Stucken & Co.

Die vyfde veiling van die 2022 Somerseisoen vind plaas op 10 Mei 2022 in Port Elizabeth. Die vooruitsigte is dat bokhaar op huidige vlakke sal verhandel. So berig deur Gerrit van Heerden, OVK Sybokhaarbestuurder, 082 854 8604.
OVK bied voorskotte op vesel wat by ons gelewer word, asook produksielenings. Skakel gerus die OVK Veselkantoor in Port Elizabeth of u Tegniese Veldbeampte vir meer inligting. Produsente word ook herinner aan die lojaliteitskema van OVK, waar boere beloon word met 23.9 sent vir elke kilogram vesel wat deur OVK bemark word.

The fourth auction of the 2022 Summer Season took place over two days, 11 and 12 April 2022, in Port Elizabeth. The offer consisted of good quality mohair of which 94% was sold and 69% of the offer was RMS certified. The stronger SA currency played a major role in the 4% decline in the market indicator which closed at R422.76/kg. Compared to the previous auction, kid mohair decreased by 2%, young goats decreased by 5%, fine adult decreased by 6% and strong adult decreased by 1%. OVK Bins once again performed very well with a bale of BSFFK that sold for R730/kg. The producers in the bin were MI Lord, EE Brits, JVW Olivier, Van Zyl Boerdery, Zeekoegat Trust, DS Jubelius, EJJ Visagie and Harry Hobson. The bin price reflects the high standard and quality work maintained by the staff in the OVK Bin division. EE Brits from Jansenville sold a bale of good style kid mohair of 24.4 microns for R780/kg. It was also the highest price for an OVK producer and the buyer was Stucken & Co.
MARKET OUTLOOK
