MARKANALISE
Die derde veiling van die 2022 Somer seisoen het oor twee dae plaasgevind, die 22ste en 24ste Maart in Port Elizabeth. Daar is 98% bokhaar verkoop. Hierdie aanbieding was die grootste tot dusver, wat gesorg het vir goeie kompetisie tussen kopershuise. Ondanks die sterker Rand het die gemiddelde markaanwyser met 2% gestyg en het op R442.24/kg gesluit. Kleinbokkies, jongbokke en sterk grootbokke het met 2% gestyg en fyn grootbokke het onveranderd gebly.
Die hoogste bin pryse vir die dag op die algehele veiling is weereens deur OVK behaal. Twee bin lotte het verkoop vir R740/kg en die hoogste bin lot het verkoop vir R750/kg. Die volgende produsente se bin lotte het R740/kg behaal, CM Barry Testamentêre Trust, PF de Klerk, Waterkrans Trust, TC Lombard, Exclusive Eggs, JJ Victor en AH Geldenhuis. Die hoogste bin prys van R750/kg is behaal deur Blouboskuil Trust, Klipgat Boerdery, PF de Klerk en A Barnard. WA Nel van Fort-Beaufort se kleinbokkie baal het verkoop vir R800/kg. PF de Klerk van Murraysburg se superstyl 24 mikron BSFFK het verkoop vir ‘n ongelooflike R848/kg. Suedwolle Group ZA (Pty) Ltd was die koper van altwee bale. OVK is die enigste makelaar wat twee lotte bo R800/kg behaal het op die algehele veiling. OVK wil graag al die kopers en produsente hartlik bedank vir hul getroude ondersteuning.
MARKVOORUITSIG
Die vierde veiling van die 2022 Somer seisoen vind plaas op die 12de April 2022. Die vooruitsigte is dat bokhaar steeds op dieselfde vlakke behoort te verhandel.
OVK bied voorskotte op vesel wat by ons gelewer word, asook produksielenings. Skakel gerus die OVK Veselkantoor in Port Elizabeth of u Tegniese Veldbeampte vir meer inligting. Produsente word ook herinner aan die lojaliteitskema van OVK, waar boere beloon word met 23.9 sent vir elke kilogram vesel wat deur OVK bemark word.
MARKET ANALYSIS
The third auction of the 2022 Summer season took place over two days, on the 22nd and 24th of March in Port Elizabeth, 98% of the mohair was sold. This auction’s offer was the largest yet, which provided good competition between buyers. Despite stronger Rand, the average market indicator increased by 2% and closed at R442.24/kg. Kid mohair, young goat mohair and strong adult mohair increased by 2% and fine adult mohair remained unchanged.
The highest bin prices for the day at the overall auction were once again achieved by OVK. Two bin lots sold for R740/kg and the highest bin lot sold for R750/kg. The following producers' bin lots achieved R740/kg, CM Barry Testamentary Trust, PF de Klerk, Waterkrans Trust, TC Lombard, Exclusive Eggs, JJ Victor and AH Geldenhuis. The highest bin price of R750/kg was achieved by Blouboskuil Trust, Klipgat Boerdery, PF de Klerk and A Barnard. WA Nel from Fort-Beaufort's kid mohair sold for R800/kg. PF de Klerk from Murraysburg's super style 24 micron BSFFK sold for an incredible R848/kg. Suedwolle Group ZA (Pty) Ltd was the buyer of both bales. OVK is the only broker who achieved two lots above R800/kg at the overall auction. OVK would like to thank all the buyers and producers for their loyal support.

The fourth auction of the 2022 Summer season takes place on 12 April 2022. The prospect is that mohair should still be trading at the same levels.
