Op 24ste wolveiling van die 2021/2022 seisoen, het die Cape Wools Merino aanwyser het met 1.4% vir nie-RWS en 0.7% vir RWS wol gedaal teenoor die vorige veiling en teen 'n skoonprys van R169.65/kg en R199.36/kg, onderskeidelik gesluit. Die grootste gedeelte van die aanbod het bestaan uit fyner mikron, goeie lengte wol, met 52% van die Merinowol aanbod, wat bestaan het uit gesertifiseerde wol. Die grootste verandering die week, was in die 20.0 mikron segment, met 'n algemene daling van 3.8% Daar is in totaal 13 372 bale aangebied, waarvan 96.5% verkoop is.
Op die OVK veiling is 2 989 bale aangebied, waarvan 93.2% verkoop is. Die hoogste prys op die OVK veiling, van R250.80/kg, is behaal vir ‘n 3 baal lot AH van 16.8 mikron, uit die skeersel van Muddy Man Farming vanuit die Barkly-Oos distrik. Die koper was Lempriere SA. Baie geluk met hierdie prestasie! Die volgende veiling is geskeduleer vir 16 Maart, waar sowat 7 041 bale aangebied sal word.

The bulk of the offering consisted of finer micron, good length wools, with certified wools made up 52% of the Merino wool on offer. The largest movement on this auction, was a decrease of 3.8%, in the 20.0 micron segment. A total of 13 372 bales were on offer, of which 96.5% was sold.
On the OVK auction 2 989 bales were offered, of which 93.2% was sold. The highest price on the OVK auction, of R250.80/kg, was achieved for a 3 bale lot AH of 16.8 microns, from the clip of Muddy Man Farming, from the Barkly East district. The buyer was Lempriere SA. Congratulations on this achievement! The next auction is scheduled for 16 March, where 7 041 bale will be on offer.
