Kern doel van die pos:

Verseker tydige betaling van die OVK-groep krediteure deur te voldoen aan wetgewing, maatskappybeleid en die handhawing van die betalingsproses en effektiewe hantering van alle administratiewe take met betrekking tot die administratiewe afdeling.

Minimum Vereistes:

  • Graad 12 met Wiskunde as vak;
  • 2 - 3 jaar ondervinding in ‘n rekeningkundige omgewing;
  • Tweetalig in Engels en Afrikaans.

Vaardighede:

  • Goeie kommunikasie- en taalvaardighede in Afrikaans en Engels;
  • Rekenaarvaardig (MS Office);
  • Goeie interpersoonlike en konflik hanterings- vaardighede;
  • Syfervaardigheid, noukeurigheid en akkuraatheid essensieel;
  • Moet onafhanklik en onder druk kan funksioneer;
  • Goeie organisasie en prioritiserings- vermoё.

Verantwoordelikhede:

  • Berei betalings aan verskaffers voor;
  • Verseker basiese rekonsiliasies;
  • Hanteer navrae oor betalings;
  • Allokering van deposito's op bankstate;
  • Verwerking van joernale;
  • Algemene Admin.


Main purpose of the position:

Ensure timeous payment of the OVK groups creditors by complying with legislation and company policy and maintaining the payment process and effective handling of all administrative tasks with regard to the administrative department.

Minimum Requirements:          

  • Grade 12 with maths as subject;
  • 2 - 3 years’ experience in an accounting environment;
  • Bilingual in English and Afrikaans.

Skills:

  • Sound communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
  • Computer literate (MS Office);
  • Good interpersonal and conflict handling skills;
  • Sound numeracy, meticulous and accuracy is essential;
  • Must be able to function independently and under pressure;
  • Good organisation and prioritising abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare payments to suppliers;
  • Ensure basic reconciliations balance;
  • Resolve queries regarding payments;
  • Allocations of deposits on bank statements;
  • Processing of journals;
  • General Admin.
