50% INCREASE IN OVK LOYALTY DISCOUNT

We are pleased to announce that the Board of Directors approved an increase in the loyalty discount from ± 10% to ± 15% of the OVK Group’s net profit, effective from 1 March 2017.  The adjustment implicates a 50% increase in the total monthly value received by bona fide producers through the loyalty discounts, as recognition for your loyal support.  Definitely something to consider when making purchases and / or delivering products.

Transactions from which you can earn loyalty discounts:

-  All business done at the OVK outlets (trading stock and direct orders);
-  Mechanization (parts, agricultural equipment);
-  Insurance (short term and crop insurance);
-  Toyota dealership purchases (new and used vehicles);
-  Livestock business (buying and selling, provided that you pay the commission);
-  Grain delivered to OVK’s Silos and grain marketed by OVK;
-  Lucerne and roughage delivered to OVK;
-  Wool and mohair delivered to OVK;
-  Cattle and sheep delivered to Gariep Abattoir;

Remember you also receive an additional 25 cents per litre from diesel purchases at OVK fuel outlets (excluding depots), provided you do not pay with a debit, credit or petrol card.

Loyalty Scheme

The Purpose

To reward producers for their loyal support by way of a loyalty benefit which is converted into OVK shares, with multiple advantages in the long run.

How does it work?

-  Bona fide farmers receive a monthly loyalty benefit on the gross profit amount of their business done with OVK.
-  This benefit is credited to the loan account of the shareholder (Loan Account A).
-  The money in loan account A is utilised monthly to purchase shares in OVK Holdings and/or OVK Operations on the clients’ behalf.
-  Within three months after you received the loyalty benefit the money will be converted into OVK shares.

What makes this scheme unique?

Clients acquire ownership of OVK shares which they earn from this loyalty scheme. The client is under no obligation to retain the shares. These shares are available for immediate trading.

Advantages

-  You receive a loyalty benefit on your purchases and product deliveries.
-  The monetary value of your loyalty benefit will be allocated monthly and will appear on your statement.
-  You may achieve the advantage of an increase in the share price. Your shares also offers security value for credit granted.
-  You receive dividends on your shares you own by year-end, should dividends be declared.

Transactions on which benefits can be earned:

-  Delivery of wool and mohair;
-  Bulk diesel purchases from OVK distribution centres;
-  Grain deliveries and the marketing thereof;
-  Purchases at retail outlets (stock as well as direct orders);
-  Livestock purchasing or selling on which you pay the commission;
-  Toyota agencies in Ladybrand and Ficksburg (vehicle purchases and parts);
-  Insurance (short term and crop insurance);
-  Mechanisation (agricultural equipment and parts);
-  Delivery of lucern and fodder.
